Tomato Chilli Jam has been an important part of our store cupboard for many, many years. About 3 years ago, a friend asked me to produce jam for her newly formed travelling delicatessen.

The jam fast became a popular product, with many locals claiming to be addicted. Very soon I had local farm shops, delis and butchers asking to stock the product, and sales have continued to rise ever since.

What’s it for?
It has to be said that the ‘jam’ may be a bit mis-leading (although I do have one customer who enjoys it with his scones!) Tomato Chilli Jam is delicious with just about everything. Customers have it with cheese, cold meats, sandwiches, baked potatoes etc. It also makes a fantastic ingredient to spice up a multitude of dishes, and a few suggestions can be found by following the link to the left.
